Its that time of year again! When all the birthdays are back to back and by the end we don't want to see cake for another year.
We celebrated Randall's 30th birthday last night. We had lots of friends over to play games. It was a lot of fun. Crazy how time flies though.
I'm married to a 30 year old... it just sounds weird.
The only thing he wanted for his 30th birthday was to be done with school! He meet his goal last year, and as a bonus he got an amazing job as a lawyer. Doing what he wanted and more, Family law, criminal, international, and speaking Korean! There were a lot of people that told us that we couldn't do it, that we wouldn't find a job. Or that the study/school scheduled (9-5) we did wouldn't be enough. There were so many willing to offer the "how it wont work" advice, but we knew what the Lord had told us to do. Don't get me wrong we had support too, its just the other side seemed louder :). We trusted in the Lord and it is amazing. Sure there was hard times who doesn't have those. We feel it was much easier than those of the typical law student with a family, or even the typical law student. We put our faith and family first and the reward is unexplainable. I wish everyone of you could meet Randall's boss, for that matter all the associates. We have been giving so much, literally. New tailor made suit, car, raises consistently, and takin in like the family. It is hard to us to believe it is real. When the Lord promises he really does deliver, we just had to be patient and block out anything that wasn't from Him. The heavens are open and we are trying to catch all of it but there really is a poring out of blessings.
So here is to another decade and many more!
