Family Fun

 We went to the mall to cool off from the heat. We had a great time together.

I see family dates kind of like visiting teaching. There is a bear minimum of time that should be spent together but that doesn't mean that is all you can or should do. So its great to have family home evening once a week but its even better to do more than that., because the relationship can grow so much more.

 Madi is really good at this face.

 Emma's favorite is when daddy swings here through it.

 Lana is good for a little while then she prefers to watch. Probably a little sleepy too.

Dentist

Here is a fun pic of the girls at their last dentist appt. They all do so good and were so cute I wanted to keep this moment forever.

Summer time Date

This is a picture of one of our dates where I got a par 3. My first shot landed on the green. You might think I am a pro from this kind of work, well lets leave your thoughts there and for get the rest of the score for the game ;).

This was from our dinner that night. It was by far the best Mexican restaurant ever. We were a little skeptical because of how fancy the building was. The fancy restaurant in front of house at Streets of Southglenn is crappy.

This though was AMAZING!

HOT HOT HOT

Yep that is frozen chicken! This is just a random pic to show how hot it is here, and a way to save on the energy bill.

Fruits of our Labor!

This is our first cucumber from our garden. It tasted wonderful. The girls ate the whole thing, and we have more where that came from. Our garden is so fun for our family to see what comes of a little seed,  "hard work", and Gods hand. We have had so many lessons that all start from the garden.

Block Party

 This may look like the 4th of July but it actually was "Littleton Main St Block Party" and to tell the truth it was more fun than the 4th. This happened earlier in June, which is why they could do the fireworks. No fires had started then.

This was a lot of fun. If the girls did push-ups then they got a free water bottle! This is pretty much what the push-ups looked like. Despite all of Uncle Johns hard work in teaching them the proper way to do push-ups. Daddy had to make up for all of them, but they got free water bottles

How cool is this. It may not smell much better but it looks more appealing when you have to use it.

Loved this game. I threw one and made it clean through the whole. Some times it pay to throw your shoes in the closet a lot! I got a nice prize for it!





Face painting!

The snow cones were great for the hot weather. Lana's FAVORITE flovor  was tigers blood.

The fireworks were great! Then for our transportation we used the city bus line. The girls were in heaven the whole night was AMAZING.

Fire vs. Rain

So the fires out here have been pretty bad. We have a few fire fighters in the ward and one of them went out to Grand Junction to set controlled burns to help cut the fires off. We are grateful for what they do but the best part was his 7year old daughters testimony last Sunday. She explained that she loved the gospel and her family and then said "and I know if my Dad dies in the fires it was Gods plan and that I can see him again in heaven". Hilarious, Sad, and Truthful all in one punch. I love when this girl bears her testimony she is great!

Well like with all things they must come to an end. The rains came and the fires are ending, but when it rains it pours here. This is a video of our neighbors basement. Needless to say they had a problem. They called us late at night to help. It is all fixed now but wow it was crazy.

4th of July

We went to a parade for the fourth. The girls loved getting lots of candy. They also got some free karate classes. They start those on Tuesday!

 Later at the festivities some one gave us free tickets so the girls road in the wagon pulled by the colorful horses. We tested our speed at throwing the baseball too. Emma's fastest was 18mph. Not bad for a 5year old! Mine was 41mph, not going to lie I was disappointed. Looks like my pro years are over! :) Maddy tried hard but she is really good at fly balls.

 The puppies were defiantly a favorite of the day. They begged to take one home, maybe someday.

 Speaking of the 4th. "Knee high by the fourth of July" I think we are covered! This is our corn in the back yard!!!!

The joys of getting Big

 Lana has been dry at night time so she got to go to Chucky Cheese!! She loved all of it but obviously she loves the horses the most.

Pre Ballerina

These are some pictures from the Maddy and Lana's ballet class. They had a lot of fun. Some friends from Randall's work even came to see the stars one week. These pics are from the last day of class so we were aloud in to watch the show.
