Childrens Museum

We went to the Children's Museum last Tuesday. This was in a little house. The girls had a blast with everything being just their size.
In the bubble room Randall and I had just as much fun with the girls. They had all sorts of bubble machines. This pic is of a square that when you pull the rope you are in a bubble. Only bummer was when Maddy got soap in her eye. Not so fun.
This was back on the first floor with the little people stuff. Lana is wearing a bowl on her head.
By far this was thee cutest spot. A mini grocery store. The girls were so serious when they came here. As you can see Emma is paying for her groceries. Once she did she proceeded to try and open them....hahahahaha.
A cool fishing game. Little boat with a pole and you try and hook the fish. Emma was quite proud.

Emma and Randall's Date night

This is not the first date night she has had but we have decided to make them once a week for consistency. She was over excited to go out with Daddy tonight. Just goes to show no matter what age girls/women love dates! I even let her wear the make-up Great Aunt Marcia gave her. (Its little girl make-up so it is really just sparkles everywhere, hard to see but thrilling for a little girl.) I wish we could have captured her enthusiasm of the night.

She got to go out tonight a little bit later than she normally gets to stay up, which made her anticipation even greater. Daddy had basketball practice with the young men at 6, and he came home a bit after 7. So Emma got to wait for an hour and a half to go on her date with Daddy, while the other two had to go to sleep. She even kissed everyone goodnight and whispered in their ears: "I have to go on a date!" Needless to say, she had lots of fun, and so did Daddy.

As for the skating, this was Emma's first time, and Daddy hadn't gone Ice skating for 8 years, so it was like the first time for him. They started off going really slow around the edge of the rink, just to get used to being on the ice. Then, before they could make a full circle, Emma insisted that they go out to the "MIDDLE!" She skated between Daddy's legs the whole time, except for the time Daddy held on to her hand and went backwards ... she didn't like that move. It was a great night, and one that Emma will remember for a long time.
