Lana's Interpretation

So we watched "The Nativity Story" today. It is a great movie, and in it you see Mary and Elizabeth give birth. Not graphically mind you, but you still get that it is hard and that a baby comes out. As the movie goes on Lana beings to do her interpretation. I love children!

Three Little Cooks

What...don't you like to like the flour up when your done?

Zoo

This was during summer time with Heather's family. We were all measuring to see if our arms were as long as the monkeys. For the record, Daddy's (Randall) are very close. What does this mean you may ask? Well, if law doesn't work out then the circus will.

Here is Baylin loving Maddy. They have so much in common.

John vs. the Stairs

This morning,John's last day in Colorado, John went down the stairs like he normally does after finishing breakfast. This time was no different from all the other times he tried to slide down all the stairs at once, with one exception: he tried to jump down the last six stairs while in a full slide. Instead of propelling himself forward, he did an "I just slipped on a banana peel" impression, and landed head-first on our railing. Behold the aftermath.

Pole: $22
Ice pack: $5
Memories: Priceless

We miss you John, and we love you. Thanks for going out with a bang!

Happy Birthday Maddy

Maddy's birthday was on April 9th, and she turned "THREE"!!! (that's "3" for those of you who were wondering...) We had a little get-together and invited the cuzins over. Maddy had a grand old time!

She totally dug her ice cream cake...we actually just finished the last of it today. So that cake lasted 11 days! That cake was huge!

And you can't forget the cute princess, our nephew Huntressa!

Intelligent Conversation

So, this evening at dinner here is a conversation with us and Emma:

G: Emma, you are so intelligent.

E: No I'm not, what's intelligent?

R: It means your smart.

E: I AM NOT SMART?

R: (Starting to get a little frustrated) Well, are you dumb? No, you're not.

E: Yes I am. I'M DUMB!!!

R: You're not dumb, you're smart.

E: No I'm not. I'M DUMB!!!

Now you have a good taste as to how adamant Emma is to stick to her opinion, no matter what the consequences...we love the enthusiasm, now we just need to work on focusing it in the right direction.
